Why you should be meal planning for your progress

Everyone wants a fit body and a good physique. You go to the gym and do workouts. But even after this, some of you may not be seeing any results even if you’re doing every exercise regularly.

That’s not the problem, the problem is you are not planning your meal properly and your meal might be ruining your progress. So, here are a few tips about why you should be meal planning.

 

1. It is natural to be hungry which is normal for everyone. When you are hungry and if there’s nothing to eat, you obviously will go for food that can be readily available at the moment or in other words, fast food which is not healthy. So, to avoid this, you need to have a proper meal plan.

 

2. Meal plan is affordable. It is much expensive going restaurants for food. Statistics say, most people spend about 30-50% of their income on food. We usually spend money on fast food and other unhealthy foods when the meal is not properly planned. You don’t have to spend money on unnecessary foods if you have your meal properly planned, instead you can spend that money on supplements or gym memberships or proper workout clothes.

 

3. Basically, a meal plan is not just about planning a meal but also preparing your meal in advance. It takes too much time cooking food when you are in a hurry. You have to wait for the food to be cooked properly. So, people who are very busy, they can half cook the chicken or other foods and keep it in the fridge so that they can just heat it up whenever they are in a rush. If you eat 100grams of chicken a day, then you can cook 500grams of chicken and store it in the fridge or you can just cook food for dinner as well when you are cooking for breakfast instead of cooking it again and again. Thus, the meal plan can save your time.

 

4. You can actually know the nutrition of each food you are taking or you are going to take if you plan your meal. You can have better control over your food as well. You can choose what to eat and what not or what to include in your diet and what not to. Eating habits will also get healthy if you are planning your meal.

 

So, instead of blaming your workouts, focus on the meal you are having. Try to plan your meal and track the record of it and this will obviously help you in your progress.
